The definition of courtship (I googled it) is "a period during which a couple develop a romantic relationship, esp. with a view to marriage." I mean, I don't know if people "court" each other anymore. Alright, fine, dating... Dating is to "go out with someone in whom one is romantically or sexually interested." That seems much more appropriate.
Some would say that a lot of women are interested in being courted and men are interested in dating (if that).
Enjoy that!!! Don't get too comfortable too quick please! You have all of your adult life to be comfortable. Enjoy the tension and the fun of wanting more! Go to fun places, walk on the beach barefoot! Take day trips to a city nearby and stay out way later than you should! HAVE FUN!
Whether you're in your twenties or in your fifties, don't rush the fun of courtship. When a woman is being courted, all she can think about is a man. When I was with my husband for the first few months, I wore the sweater he let me borrow on our first date every day everywhere I went when he wasn't around just so I could smell it (cause it smelled like him). I hid it when he was around so he never knew I did this. I thought about him literally every waking minute that I could. I did very poorly in college that semester. It was wonderful!
Men, I can say, probably do some things like women. They may keep a piece of our clothing to smell (no dirty comments here, guys), or think about us enough to avoid working... It may not always be as "dreamily" as women do, but...
I think it's important to relish this time before the comfort zone takes effect...
No one wants that.
